- What exactly is your business and what made you get started?
My business is Health and Wellness. I have always had a passion for helping others and wanting to make a difference in the world around me.
- What one thing do you do every day to move yourself forward and stay focused? Where do you find your inspiration?
Reaching out to people inspires me and checking in with my Motivation Group to see how they are doing, and what they are currently struggling with. I read positive affirmations daily and I read my Personal Development Daily.
- What do you do regularly to take care of yourself?
I watch what I eat and take care of my body, mind and soul. I believe what we put in our bodies is what we get out of them daily.
- How do you keep yourself emotionally balanced while you are pushing forward?
We all have down days, but I know that we are never promised tomorrow, so I do my best to live the fullest life daily and to be a positive impact for those around me.
- What’s the best part and the worst part of your job?
The best part is being the inspiration in someone’s day and that they look forward to my posts or shared information. The worst part is I wish I had more time in a day. I wish more people believed in themselves to make the changes to live a healthier life especially when they have small children in the home and with the rising cost of health care.
- What failure taught you the most and what was it?
We didn’t get here overnight and losing weight is the hardest challenge. Most of us aren’t taught in our younger years how compromising and difficult obesity can be. It breaks my heart to realize knowledge could have such a huge positive impact on our adult lives. My goal is to bring that knowledge to us now, where ever we are in life.
- If you had to do something different, what would that be?
I would become a Health or Nutritionist Teacher and get into the schools and teach awareness to the younger generations and offer family classes at a low cost.
- If you had advice to give to someone else who was thinking of becoming an entrepreneur, what would that be?
There is nothing more rewarding then living the life you want to live and how you want to live it. Making a difference in the world around me and giving hope to people who have none is more rewarding than anything else I’ve done. Entrepreneurship allows flexible hours to spend valuable family times, something working for a corporation doesn’t always allows us to. We only have one life and a limited amount of time to build the memories we are meant to LIVE, the entrepreneur life allows me to control my life.
- What did you have to overcome personally to be able to do what you do?
I had to embrace the idea that anything is POSSIBLE if I put my mind to it. Building my business takes a lot of time but worth every hour spent.
- Any last parting words?
If more people took charge or their lives and lived the dreams God places within us, the world would be a much happier place. We are so filled with ‘I can’t’ and ‘I don’t know how’ it just breaks my heart. We are all born with the same tools, and putting forth the efforts to grab hold of the dreams can make it all possible
