☕ Caffeinated or Called?
We live in a world that celebrates energy. Productivity. Hustle. Staying “on.”
Coffee can wake you up—but it cannot tell you where to go.
Many women are alert… but not aligned.
Busy… but not deeply fulfilled.
Capable… but quietly questioning.
You can run on caffeine and still run in circles. Energy without direction is exhausting. Calling brings clarity.
Scripture reminds us:
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity.” — Ephesians 5:15–16
You were not created just to keep up. You were created to walk in something prepared. And sometimes the bravest thing a woman can do is pause long enough to ask: Am I fueled… or am I faithful?
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” ~Proverbs 16:9
Purpose is not about doing more. It is about aligning your steps with the One who establishes them.
Reflection Questions
- Where in my life do I feel busy but unsettled?
- What activities drain me, even though I keep doing them?
- When do I feel most aligned, peaceful, and deeply satisfied?
- If I wasn’t trying to keep up with everyone else, what would I say God is nudging me toward?
- What fear might be keeping me caffeinated instead of called?
Action Takeaway
This week, take one intentional pause.
Before saying yes to something, ask:
- Does this move me toward my calling?
- Or does this just keep me busy?
Then choose one small step that aligns with purpose instead of pressure.
Maybe it’s:
- Saying no to one unnecessary commitment.
- Blocking 10 minutes for prayer and clarity.
- Reaching out about something God has been stirring in your heart.
- Starting the project you’ve been postponing.
Small, aligned steps build purposeful lives.
