This book felt much like a yearlong Bible study designed for Christian women. With 50 lessons, it offers enough content for nearly a full year of self-guided reflection. The lessons are short, inspiring, and firmly rooted in biblical teachings. For those without access to a regular faith community, this book provides a meaningful and accessible alternative for personal study. ~Judge #1
The author focuses on strengthening and encouraging women to lead faith-filled lives through 52 lessons. Each “lesson” begins with a brief description of an inspiring historical woman followed by encouraging quotes or Christian scripture, topical discussion, and finally an interactive journaling section for the reader to use for reflection. The text is formatted in a way that works for both personal and group reading and is written for a Christian audience. ~ Judge #2
Bold By Design surprised me in the best way. I loved how each chapter started with a quote that set the tone and made me want to keep reading. The chapters were the perfect length, not too long, but still packed with meaning. One of my favorite parts was the “Pick Up Your Sword” sections at the end of each chapter. They gave me a moment to pause, reflect, and actually apply what I’d just read and there was space to jot down thoughts and notes. It wasn’t just something I read and forgot about the next day…it pushed me to take action. This is definitely a book I’ll be coming back to when I need a reset or a reminder of who I want to be. ~Judge #3
What stood out most was the way the author weaves modern insights alongside biblical references, quoting figures such as Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, Emily Dickinson, and other powerful women. The experience encouraged me to slow down and reconnect with my gifts and goals—almost as if Ms. Vincent were sitting right beside me, guiding the process. ~Judge #4
